90% of the time, I come here by link from another blog or site. If that site hasn't updated their link, it directs me to the redirect page, which then earns, I dunno, webcredit(?) with google. They say, wow, veinglory.com is getting major hits, its mojo is all that and a pair of Manolo Blahniks. And wow, yet another interloper chose veinglory over erecsite, so down in the rankings you go.

The only way you're going to rectify this is to cut veinglory.com off at the kiwis. Backtrace all the places that have linked to the site and the blog, and haven't updated, and send a gentle reminder via email that they need to update their linkage. For those who remain recalcitrant, include a photo of your knuckle-dragging cousin Guido.

Once all those places have updated their links from oldpage to newpage, the problem should eventually work itself out.

I also find that the google crawler takes a while to get around.

It took a long time for my meta info etc to update for my site.
 

The googlebots seems to have found us here, the site is listed--it just ranks veeeeery low, so far. Oh well. Will it help if I say 'erotic' a few more times... sex? American Idol? Britney Spears? ;)
