It is rumored that Siren Publishing has won the bid for the Triskelion contracts as listed in the bankruptcy proceedings (this list was apparently not accurate or complete). And that all the contractual rights included in the bid will be returned to the authors.

Am I the only one a little disconcerted by the idea of publishers bidding against each other for the contracts. Even though they both have good intent a case could previously have been made that the contracts had no monetary value...
I actually wonder at the motives involved. I hate to be a cynical bitch, but somehow, I don't think the publishers had an altruistic intent.
