  Jazzy Music, huh?--veinglory
After the huge plagiarism scandal you might think Lanaia Lee would give up on the 'Of Atlantis' project. But hark...

Video posted January 21, 2008--book "available world wide in March".

Comments:
Is this for real?

Oh crap, forgot to subscribe.

Given that Roval Publishing still has a website up, and someone using the screen name 'Lanaia Lee' is promoting the vid, I think it might be.

If not, it's still funny.

Oh dear me....

Oh my goodness!

I can't bear to watch the whole thing. Ugh.

But I can't say I'm surprised, as she posted over at DA's thread 'ten tips for plagiarists' about how it was all fixed now, etc.

Unbelievable. *shakes head*

Well, I am daffy, wacky, and looney!

heavenly belt? Does that come in black leather XL?

my love delyse? He loves a girl that kills lice?

I'm sure it's her. Even if she hadn't still been posting at DA all the time, the line:

Read,
OF ATLANTIS,
...

Would give it away. The girl sure loves her extraneous commas.

I am after nothing more than any other author, Of Atlantis has been totall re-edited, side by side to David Gemmel's Dark Prince. Of Atlantis is a five volume series with no mention Alexnder the Great. To say the least, the story line is NOT similiar. Before judging me, read the book and you decide!
Thank you,
Lanai

I think I have every right to comment before, during and after reading the book--should I choose to do so. Otherwise you'd be free to say anything at all and I'd have to be silent until March. that would hardly be fair, I think?

Nothing wrong with that and that is very fair!

Hmmm. Is it wrong of me to be considering making the purchase? Thoughts? Someone should have a look IMHO.

What exactly is every other author after Lanai? The authors I know do not plagarize bits and pieces of someone elses story and try to pass it off as their own.

Most authors would not then, after being found out, still try to sell said book under any guise, totally redone or not.

Em, as much as I hate to put money into the pocket of a known plagarist, I would say you are a good person to research the book and find out if it still has bits and pieces of someone elses work.

Deb
DEP

The video looks horribly cheesy, and from the eloquence of the author's comments here, I highly doubt the finished product is going to be worth the cover price.

This video was made by Ginger Simpson, a known vanity published author.

I wouldn't spend one cent on this garbage at all. Rewriting something doesn't change the fact this was ripped off.

To Teddy Pig,
In Of Atlantis my main female character is called Delyse prnounced Da lease not delice what grade are you in?

well, if you wanted readers to pronounce it Da lease you should have spelled it Delise.

I find it funny that as soon as the video showed up, it was getting negative comments on You Tube for a couple of days.

Now it's been locked for accepting ratings.

Can't stand the heat Lanaia...?

Lanaia what's the matter? Scared that people are right and all the positive spin can't save this dead horse?

It's over...you lost, you got caught with the pen in the cookie jar. Start over, ditch the wica agaent and people might forgive you. As of right now, you're a laughing stock. Nobody will take you seriously. Pathetic.

I think that the point has been made, so I'd appreciate some restraint in the comments to avoid a 'pile on'. Thanks.

I'll respect your wishes and drop the subject.

Thank you for letting me speak my mind.

I was also sent a link to this.
I was so flattered.
